Annika Sorenstam, who has won this event five consecutive years, which is an LPGA Tour record for most consecutive years winning the same event, played average on Friday. She shot a one-under-par 71 and is part of a group tied for 27th place.

Sorenstam, a three-time winner this season, including the U.S. Women's Open, struggled to consecutive bogeys at 14 and 15, but parred her final three.

The Australian birdied the par-three 11th, then eagled the par-five 13th to move to six-under par. Hetherington dropped a shot with a bogey at the par- four 14th, but would atone for the mistake quickly.

She collected back-to-back birdies from the 15th to move to seven-under par. Hetherington parred her final two holes to secure her three-stroke cushion.

Mie, Japan (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Annika Sorenstam's quest for six consecutive Mizuno Classic titles dramatically improved on Saturday. The Swede, already the LPGA Tour record holder with five straight wins in this event, posted a six-under 66 to finish 36 holes tied for third place at seven- under-par 137.

Sorenstam trails Japan LPGA member Momoko Ueda by two at Kashikojima Country Club in Shima. Ueda fired an eight-under-par 64 and is through two rounds at nine-under-par 135.

On the second nine, the Swede birdied the par-four 12th hole to reach six- under par. Sorenstam birdied the par-three 17th to get within two shots of more LPGA Tour history.

Sorenstam was joined in third by overnight leader Rachel Hetherington (72), Yun-Hee Ku (65), Jeong Eun Lee (65), Ai Miyazato (68), Aree Song (68) and Brittany Lang (69).

Ueda birdied the par-five 13th to get into a share of the lead at minus-seven. She birdied the 15th, a hole she bogeyed on Friday, then birdied the closing hole to take the 36-hole lead.

MySportsbook.com week 1 NFL lines

Now that the 2008 NFL schedule is finally out, it is only matter-of-course for lines on “Week 1” to follow.  Of course MySportsbook.com is the first to churn out odds for the NFL’s inaugural week for the upcoming season.   Expect a lot of fireworks the first Thursday night of the season as the defending champion Indianapolis Colts face off against the surprise of the 2008 season, the New Orleans Saints.  These teams were ranked #1 and #3 in the NFL respectively a season ago so a high scoring affair could be in order.  As of now, the Colts will be giving 6 points to the Saints; keep in mind the Saints were one of the better road teams last season going 6-3 SU and 7-2 ATS.  The first Monday night of the season will again provide a “double feature”. Coming off a disappointing season, the Cincinnati Bengals will look to get back to playoffs and improve their public image as they take on the AFC North favorite Baltimore Ravens.  The second game features a couple of teams that haven’t had too much success recently but each could make some noise if the NFC is as weak as it was last year as the San Francisco 49ers host the Arizona Cardinals. The most interesting game of the opening week will feature the NFC champion Bears as they hit the road to take on the NFL’s top team during last year’s regular season, the San Diego Chargers.
